Harris visits thriving business in Bray
Fine Gael TD for Wicklow and Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Simon Harris yesterday (Monday) paid a site visit to DLRS Ltd., based on the Boghall Road Bray.
Located in Bray for over thirty years, DLRS Ltd. is a thriving business in our community, where a range of products are manufactured for a large number of clients, such as government departments, banks and commercial organisations.
Speaking from the DLRS Ltd. base on the Boghall Road, Minister Harris said: “I am very impressed by the huge output from this business, right on our doorstep in Bray. This organisation is responsible for manufacturing many very important products, such as the public services card, which has replaced the Social Services card, used to collect social welfare payments and the Free Travel Pass.
“I was delighted to meet with staff, employed locally, who were working on the floor in manufacturing DLRS products.
“It is very positive that a business in our community, which employs over 60 staff, is producing an important card for the roll out of social welfare entitlements in Ireland.
“I am continuing to work with businesses or all sizes and sectors in Wicklow, meeting with staff, hearing views and engaging with the Chambers of Commerce in order to ensure that we continue the economic recovery in our communities.
“I look forward to working with DLRS in the future as it continues its thriving 30 year old business in Bray,” concluded Minister Harris.
